Vice President Leni Robredo is my President. No one else comes close to her competency, integrity, love for country, and the quality of service she has shown over the past years she has been in office. I hope and pray that we do not lose this precious opportunity of having her as the next president of the Philippines.

Democracy is fragile. So is leadership.
It takes so little to tear them asunder, much more so in these uncertain and precarious days when basic freedoms are under attack, and the values of many who are seeking to take over the highest offices of our land are questionable and dark, to say the least.
A dark wave of change has come, and is now almost done. A new chapter beckons, and a fresh wave is poised to try and undo the damage. But, the challenge - not just of winning, that's the least of it - but of governing and remaining true to the principles that underpin this fight is monumental.
She cannot do this alone, and she knows it.
Impulses fixed in fleeting conjunction
Sunlit letters aligned with a shadow
Sheltered by light a quiet aggression
Casted from love an echoing sorrow

Let’s Begin a New Story
Acrylic on canvas
24 x 24 in
Storytelling is a creative way to get children's (and actually, even adult's) attention. An effective storyteller immerses his/her audience into the story-allowing them to imagine, process their thoughts, think of all kinds of possibilities, and participate. And this is the kind of future I envision for our country as well. With a selfless leader and a people who are willing to listen and participate in moving our country forward, the future is brighter than ever. It is, with certainty, a beautiful story just waiting to unfold.

Alab ng Puso
Rubbercut-based collage
24 x 24 in (30 x 30 in, framed)
”Alab ng Puso”
Patuloy na nahuhulog
Sa balon ng kahirapan,
Pilit na binubusog
Ng mga pangakong walang laman,
Kumakapit sa natitirang pagasa,
Mula sa puso,
Ramdam ang katotohanan,
Lumalaban.
”Grit”
I relentlessly fall
In the depths of despair,
Filled with deceit
Fed by empty promises,
I grasp on my last strands of hope,
From the heart,
I feel the truth,
I continue to fight.
